CNN now fully exposed as fake news central after senior producer calls Trump-Russia narrative “bulls**t” in new undercover video

CNN is having a bad week.

A few days back, the network was forced to retract a story based on an “anonymous” congressional source claiming that Anthony Scaramucci, a member of the transition team’s executive committee, as well as a fundraiser and adviser for the president’s campaign, was under congressional investigation. The story claimed, specifically, that Senate investigators were probing whether Scaramucci talked about the lifting of sanctions against Russia with Kirill Dmitriev, chief executive of Russian Direct Investment Fund, valued at $10 billion, in a meeting four days before President Donald J. Trump was inaugurated.

It never happened. The Deep State leak, which, as usual, CNN failed to verify, was a fabrication.

There was fallout. Earlier this week the three CNN journalists associated with the story — Lex Harris, executive editor of CNN’s investigative unit; Thomas Frank, who wrote the story, and Eric Lichtblau, who edited it — have all since resigned. Now comes bona fide evidence, from the mouth of a senior CNN producer, that the network’s never-ending allegations that Team Trump ‘colluded’ with ‘The Russians’ to ‘steal the election from Hillary Clinton,’ has been completely overplayed for the sake of ratings. Thanks to an undercover media sting operation by Project Veritas, a well-known organization headed up by James O’Keefe with a reputation for exposing Left-wing Democratic corruption, new details on CNN‘s corruption are coming to light.

In a newly released video, senior producer John Bonifield is caught admitting that the coverage — and the allegations — are “bulls**t,” pure and simple. He also notes the obvious: That if there really was something to the charges, with all of the leaks that have been taking place from Deep State operatives and Obama holdovers, the “smoking gun” would have been revealed by now:

“Could be bullsh*t. I mean, it’s mostly bullsh*t right now,” Bonifield said when asked about his thoughts on the Russia investigation.

“Like, we don’t have any giant proof. Then they say, well there’s still an investigation going on. And you’re like, yeah, I don’t know. If they were finding something we would know about it,” he continues. “The way these leaks happen, they would leak it. They’d leak. If it was something really good, it would leak…. The leaks keep leaking and there’s so many great leaks, and it’s amazing.

“I just refuse to believe that if they had something really good like that that wouldn’t leak because we’ve been getting all these other leaks. So, I just feel like they don’t really have it but they want to keep digging. And so I think the president is probably right to say, like, look you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun. You have no real proof,” he continued.

As for the president’s alleged criminal behavior, Bonifield offers this: “I haven’t seen any good evidence to show the president committed a crime.”

And what if the Kremlin was attempting to influence the outcome, one way or the other, of the Nov. 8 elections? Not a big story, Bonifield admitted, because it’s nothing new. “Even if Russia was trying to swing an election, we try to swing their elections, our CIA is doing sh*t all the time, we’re out there trying to manipulate governments,” he said.

Bonifield is a supervising producer for CNN Health, Breitbart News reported. According to his biography on CNN’s website, he mostly works with the CNN Medical Unit and “primarily with CNN Senior Medical Correspondent Elizabeth Cohen.”

So what will CNN’s reaction be to this stunning admission? The network will likely claim that since Bonifield isn’t a hard news producer — that since he focuses primarily on health-related issues — he’s not the authority on the network’s Trump-Russia coverage.

As if Bonifield doesn’t work in the same office as those reporters and producers do, and as if he doesn’t know them personally and hasn’t discussed any of this with them.

But we’ll let him — and the video — speak for themselves:
